Just The Bones — Because healthcare depends on what you do not see.

Current work

  • Recruiting and evaluating prospective founding directors
  • Refining Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws, and supporting governance policies
  • Preparing for Oregon nonprofit incorporation and federal tax-exempt application
  • Seeking professional legal, fiduciary, and nonprofit formation review
  • Building relationships across healthcare, infrastructure, philanthropy, industry, utilities, and the public sector
  • Developing an operating framework flexible enough to support different forms of infrastructure assistance while preserving mission discipline

What is not open yet

Just The Bones is not currently accepting charitable donations, grant applications, or requests for project funding. No grantmaking program has been launched, and no project should be represented as approved or sponsored by the organization.

This limitation is temporary but important. The institution must exist legally, be governed independently, and establish appropriate financial and operating controls before it asks others to entrust it with money or projects.

What engagement is useful now

Current conversations are most valuable with prospective directors, healthcare and infrastructure leaders, nonprofit and fiduciary professionals, philanthropic institutions, manufacturers, utilities, associations, public agencies, and others capable of helping establish the organization responsibly.
