Just The Bones Header

Status

Just The Bones is currently in the planning and formation phase. No fundraising activities are currently being conducted, and the organization has not yet incorporated.

This is intentional. The current priority is to build enough clarity, governance discipline, relationships, and practical understanding to avoid creating an organization faster than it can responsibly operate.

Long-Term Goal

The long-term goal is to become a trusted pipeline for healthcare infrastructure support: a credible pathway that helps connect hospital infrastructure needs with expertise, partnerships, resources, and eventually project-level support.

Just The Bones is not being developed to replace existing hospitals, facilities departments, foundations, or healthcare systems. It is intended to support the work already being done and help fill gaps where visibility, funding, coordination, or outside support may be limited.

Initial Proof of Model

The first practical objective is to identify several small infrastructure-related projects at Critical Access Hospitals or similar healthcare facilities. These projects would be used to test the model, build trust, document outcomes, and learn what kind of support is actually useful before attempting broader growth.

The first step is not scale. The first step is proof that the model can help real facilities solve real problems responsibly.

Current Activities

Current Need

At this stage, the most valuable support is perspective, mentorship, constructive criticism, and introductions to people with experience in healthcare, infrastructure, philanthropy, nonprofit governance, rural healthcare, workforce development, or hospital operations.
